One Day For The Herd is Marshall University's annual university-wide day of philanthropy! Every year alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends come together to make gifts to the people, places, and programs that mean the most to them. 

As a One Day For The Herd Ambassador, you'll help us get the word out about the fundraising priorities that mean the most to you while asking your network of family and friends to consider making a donation to support the people, places, and programs you care about most. Your participation makes a huge difference!

What will I do as a One Day For The Herd Ambassador?

STEP 1. Post on social media. This can be anything from sharing after you make a gift to posting a selfie or video showcasing the people, places, or programs that mean the most to you.

STEP 2. Send personal messages. Reaching out directly to friends, family, and peers can be the best way to get the word out. 

STEP 3. Be a representative for your community. Above all, being an ambassador means flinging your green and white afar with pride and representing the current needs of your Marshall Family.
